Spirit and the Body, The

“Endeavoring to keep the oneness of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Eph. 4:3)

As believers we should be desperate to keep the oneness. This oneness is not the oneness of doctrine or the oneness of theology; it is the oneness of the Spirit. The oneness of the Spirit is just the Spirit Himself. To keep the oneness of the Spirit is to keep the Spirit. If we are not in the Spirit, we are not in the oneness. And if we are not in the Spirit, we cannot say that we are in the Body. The Body is one with the Spirit, and the Spirit is the reality of the Body. If we are not in the Spirit, we are not in the oneness, but in division.

In The Spirit and the Body Witness Lee presents clear and penetrating examples that test whether our living is genuinely in the Spirit and in the Body. He goes on to reveal that the Lord’s recovery in this age is fundamentally a recovery of the oneness of the Body.
